Silently reciting the command in her mind, a virtual interface resembling a game screen appeared before Janna’s eyes.

Quest Reward: 100 Talent EXP, 500 Skill EXP, one random reward (Charisma +0.1)

Remaining Rewards: 100 Talent EXP, 8500 Skill EXP】

Seeing the “Charisma +0.1” listed under the quest rewards, Janna couldn't help but wear a slightly puzzled expression.

“This is the third time in a row the random quest reward has been a Charisma increase. It used to take ages just to get a single point.”

Though she found it a little strange, Janna quickly turned her focus to the Talent EXP and Skill EXP sections.

“All Talent EXP to Soul Projection. Keep the Skill EXP saved.”

After giving the command, the Talent EXP shown under Remaining Rewards instantly changed to “0”, while on the Character Panel, the upgrade progress for the Grade B Soul Projection talent rose from 75% to 76%.

“It won’t be long now before the Grade B Soul Projection talent can officially upgrade to Grade A. I wonder what kind of new ability an A-grade wizard talent will grant me…”

After her reincarnation, Janna entered White Coral Academy, where she was identified as having a rare dual talent: a B-grade Soul Projection from the mysterious summoning category, and a B-grade Plant Affinity from the elemental plant category.

In the wizarding world, wizard apprentice talents were divided into five grades: S, A, B, C, and D.

D-grade marked the boundary between the mundane and the extraordinary. To become a wizard, besides needing a talent of D-grade or higher, one also needed to have a Spirit Power score of at least 5 before the age of 15.

Ordinary people would maintain around 1 point of Spirit Power throughout their lives, while wizards—naturally able to communicate with the will of the world and channel magic—required at least 5.

Only through further meditation to reach 10 Spirit Power could one be formally classified as a First Tier Wizard Apprentice.

Janna, possessing dual B-grade talents and already reaching 8 Spirit Power at the age of 14, stood out as one of the most talented apprentices in all of Turin among her cohort.

While not quite comparable to those with A-grade, dual A-grade, or even the world-favored S-grade talents, for a small wizarding organization like White Coral Academy, Janna’s talents were sufficient to warrant preferential treatment and access to extra resources.

Things like a private dormitory, or a monthly stipend of ten Gold Surrels during her first year, gave Janna a slight advantage in quickly boosting her strength early on.

In less than three months, Janna’s Spirit Power had already broken past 10, making her one of the first witches in her cohort to reach First Tier Wizard Apprentice.

Looking at the Spirit Power entry on the quest panel, through her consistent daily meditation and the system’s random rewards, her Spirit Power was now nearly at the level of a Level 2 Wizard Apprentice—17 points.

Next, she only needed to gradually absorb Source Energy through meditation and raise her wizard level.

Once the wizard tree in her soul sprouted a second branch, Janna could attempt the breakthrough and formally advance to Level 2 Wizard Apprentice.

“The current daily quest rewards mainly give wizard talent and skill EXP. To quickly improve my wizard profession level, apart from exchanging for more advanced meditation methods, I’d have to spend academic credits at White Coral Academy’s magic tower for a Source Energy Infusion… but the cost is just too high to even consider.”

White Coral Academy offered free basic courses and meals for first-year apprentices, but all other resources had to be exchanged with academic credits.

Gold Surrels could also be used, but they had lower purchasing power.

“It’s getting late. I should head back.”

Closing the quest panel before her eyes, Janna didn’t linger any longer.

She resumed casting the Featherlight Spell and headed quickly toward the southeast of Turin.

White Coral Academy was located in the southeastern part of Turin City and was one of the three wizard organizations alongside Blackbone Grove and Mist Tower.

Unlike the other two, which leaned toward dark-attribute particles and black wizardry, White Coral Academy was a comprehensive institution straddling the line between white and black magic.

Due to Turin’s unique geography—surrounded by forest and perpetually shrouded in mist—the region was a natural haven for dark-attribute elements and home to countless poisonous swamp-dwelling magical beasts, making it a prime location for black wizard organizations like Blackbone Grove and Mist Tower that specialized in shadow, undead, mist, and poison magic.

By contrast, White Coral Academy was situated on higher ground, in a rare clear patch within the Misty Forest.

This allowed it to receive more sunlight than the other two organizations.

As a result, sun-loving jungle plants thrived around the academy.

“Apprentice, show your identification—”

The mist grew thinner and the forest denser.

As Janna passed through the outer Fog Illusion Array of the academy, a humanoid willow tree roughly five meters tall appeared before her. Having grown used to this, Janna didn’t panic.

She politely bowed and retrieved a small, withered branch carved with her name from within her wizard robe.

“Alright, go on in.”

“Thank you, Tree Spirit, sir.”

Branches intertwined and pulled back in layers.

In the blink of an eye, a narrow Tree Path just wide enough for one person appeared before Janna.

Tucking the misty branch back into her robe, Janna resumed casting the Featherlight Spell and quickly stepped into the path, heading deeper into the barrier.

“Creak… creak—”

Her figure vanished, the branches closed again.

The moment Janna entered the Tree Path, the narrow entrance that could accommodate one person was instantly sealed by countless branches.

Mist blanketed the area, insects and birds chirped softly, and with the creaking of swaying twigs, the barrier entrance of White Coral Academy returned to stillness.

“Caw—caw—”

The passage writhed slightly.

After about thirty seconds, Janna finally emerged from the vine-covered tree wall.

Perhaps the movement of the Thorny Vines had been too violent, for several Rooks that had been sleeping on the tree wall were startled awake.

Flapping their wings and cursing under their breath, they took off grumpily into the sky.

“Compared to the damp chill inside Turin City, the climate within the academy is indeed warmer and more comfortable.”

Breathing in the dry, warm air inside the barrier, Janna felt perfectly at ease.

For a white witch with Plant Affinity, a bright and sunny day like this was her favorite kind of weather.
