St. Andros Academy – Sigil Practice Field.
"Next is free practice time. Everyone, be careful and feel free to disperse."
In Sigil classes, the school provides free sigils to help students become familiar with using sigils for attacks.
The sigils provided by the school are generally for teaching purposes, meaning they have very low power, making them perfect for simulating duels between students.
But Felyn has always had trouble finding a practice partner.
Felyn understands, most people aren't actually bad, but in such a social environment, they're just unwilling to interact with him to avoid gossip. He's already used to it.
He took the five sigils he had just received and walked to a quieter area, then used them all at once into the air.
Sigils, by nature, are much weaker than divine magic, and the ones provided for teaching are like fireworks in the sky.
Five fireworks flashed silently in this empty corner, then disappeared.
These teaching sigils can't use his special skill, or else he'd just hide them and use them for himself.
Sitting on the grass, Felyn hugged his knees, watching the students playing and laughing, listening to the sounds of joy carried by the wind.
He had to admit, it was a little lonely at times like this.
He didn't have many friends. Due to his family's destruction, his previous noble friends had been strictly forbidden by their parents to have any more contact with him.
Though being carefree and alone isn't bad, he occasionally misses the days when he had friends.
"Felyn."
Felyn heard a voice behind him. It was Viloti, with her pink hair tied into twin ponytails, wearing a white short-sleeve sports top.
Her light blue shorts revealed a hint of her alluring thighs, and her white stockings reached up to her knees, outlining her shapely legs.
Felyn couldn't help but think about how she managed to look good in every style.
"Viloti, is something wrong?"
"Are you thirsty?"
She took out a bottle of water from behind and placed it at Felyn's feet.
Viloti knelt beside Felyn, bringing the scent of a young girl with her.
The breeze helped lift her hair, gently brushing against Felyn's face.
The sky was blue, and the wind was just right.
The two sat on the grass, watching the boys in the distance immersed in their joy.
Viloti watched Felyn, who hadn't moved the bottle of water, wondering what she should say next.
Previously, she had rejected gifts from Felyn, but Felyn didn't push her to accept them repeatedly.
So she decided not to bring it up this time either, not wanting to make Felyn feel uncomfortable.
Felyn shifted slightly, distancing himself from Viloti.
"Viloti, did Teacher Sofia say anything to you last night?"
"Yeah. How did you know?"
Given the sudden change in her behavior, it was likely someone had given her advice.
Viloti didn't had friends and no one to confide in, so it was likely Teacher Sofia.
"Did she say anything strange?"
"No," Viloti shook her head, her hair swaying in a pleasant motion.
Speaking of Sofia, how dare she give relationship advice when her own love life was a mess? She shouldn't be misleading Viloti like this!
"Felyn, do you dislike me?"
"No, I don't."
Viloti hugged her legs, resting her head on her knees.
"But it seems like you're avoiding me."
The girl pouted, her eyes focused on the grass swaying in the wind.
"I just think we should maintain some distance, after all, such things can easily become gossip."
"I don't mind."
I do mind. And most importantly, your father minds.
But Felyn couldn't say that. The contract he signed with her was clear: do not reveal the contract details to Viloti.
Felyn didn't answer Viloti, simply deciding to remain silent.
If this young lady doesn't get any reaction from him in the next few days, she might give up.
The sun was both a blessing and a nuisance.
After a long time of outdoor activity, Viloti's flushed face was lightly covered with sweat, dampening the small fine hairs on her face.
Viloti was a bit thirsty.
The bottle of water she brought was already at Felyn's feet. Once a gift was given, it couldn't be taken back.
"Felyn, drink some water."
Felyn turned his head and saw Viloti's beautiful amber eyes staring at him, almost pleading.
It felt as though if he didn't drink the water, he would immediately be judged by the gods.
"I'm not thirsty yet," Felyn refused.
"But if you don't drink it, I will have to throw it away."
"Eh? Why? You can take it back if I don't drink it."
"The Silafiel family can't take back a gift once it's given."
Is there really such a family rule?
Felyn hesitated. Wasting resources didn't feel right, but he still didn't want to have too much contact with Viloti.
"I'll give you money," Viloti pulled out her pink unicorn wallet.
"Eh, I don't know why, but now I really want to drink."
Felyn wasn’t in it for the money, but he was indeed a bit thirsty.
He took a sip and capped the bottle, placing it back at his feet.
This really is the last time. Damn capitalist!
It felt like he was falling into the trap of materialism. Every time he heard the word "money," his body couldn't resist a strange reaction.
Sad, becoming a slave to money.
Viloti's gaze focused on the water bottle, her toes gently tapping together.
"Felyn, do you want more?"
"I don't need any more for now."
"Can I have a sip?"
?
???
Felyn's eyes widened in surprise. What did this young lady want?
Viloti’s reasoning was simple.
Though gifts couldn’t be taken back, if Felyn had already drunk from the bottle and didn’t need it, it was as if the gift had been used, so she could have a sip too.
"Viloti, this doesn’t seem very appropriate."
"Thank you."
Viloti reached out, gently took the bottle, and tilted her head back slightly to drink.
Sweet water flowed down her parched throat. Viloti squinted her eyes, unconsciously swinging her feet back and forth.
Felyn’s gaze was once again drawn to Viloti's feet. They were truly like works of art.
Damn, they really are beautiful.
Though the white socks covered her feet and didn't show the real skin, this kind of beauty was completely different. Compared to the direct impact of bare legs, this subtle beauty made one want to peel it away to see what was inside.
Viloti noticed Felyn's gaze on her feet. Last time during the tutoring session, he had also stared at them.
She didn't understand what was so special about her feet.
But since Felyn liked them, there must be a reason.
She buried her head in her knees, her cheeks turning red and her body stiffening.
Viloti bit her lip, her eyes becoming misty.
"Felyn, do you want to touch my feet?"
