Su Yun was looking down at her phone, but her mind wasn’t on it at all.
“Mm... I guess I’ll just go find her like this.” She felt the soft fabric of the skirt against her legs and couldn’t help but reach down and give it a little squeeze.
She’d actually worn a skirt all day.
Putting her phone aside, Su Yun walked over to the mirror. She stared at the beautiful girl reflected back at her and puffed out her cheeks.
So cute... ah...
Only now did Su Yun realize her own face was turning red. She turned her head away, not daring to keep looking.
But a second later, as if still wanting a peek, she turned back again. Facing the mirror, she made a smiling face, then a crying one—both looked pretty good.
Hmm...
There was still one thing she wanted to try.
She should be around 160 cm now, not exactly loli-sized, but still pretty petite.
As a college student who often watched cute anime, there was one pose she’d always wanted to see.
So, Su Yun slowly raised both hands above her head and covered it, then squatted down low.
So embarrassing... but I really want to see it.
She carefully cracked one eye open and glanced toward the mirror.
Right then, the girl in the mirror, curled up into a ball, was staring back at her. Her face was tinged with a rosy blush, and her pitiful posture, huddled like that, instantly triggered a flood of protective instincts in Su Yun’s heart.
So cute, I wanna lick—wait, no, not like that... How could I possibly have those kinds of thoughts about myself... Ugh.
After one glance, Su Yun felt like her brain was going to evaporate. She knew for sure her face must be bright red now.
Ugh ugh ugh, stop looking!!
She didn’t dare open her eyes again. Like a duck, she shuffled her feet along the floor until her back was turned to the mirror, only then daring to stand back up.
“I’m never doing that again... ugh...” Su Yun really wanted to slap her earlier self for even thinking about trying it.
Same with before—when she was showering, she got curious and tried that, and ended up uncomfortable all night.
Curiosity really does kill the cat!
Just as Su Yun was still feeling all flustered, a sweet ringtone echoed through her room.
“Huh!? What was that?” She tensed up again, startled by the sudden sound. It took her several seconds to realize—someone was calling her.
“Qin Xue?” She walked over to the bed and saw the name on the screen.
A call at noon? Isn’t work supposed to start in the afternoon?
Don’t tell me working hours have extended to start at noon now?
That’s exploitation! I’m gonna sue you!
“Doo doo...” Still, Su Yun cautiously picked up the phone.
“Sister Xiaoyun, just woke up?” came a lovely voice from the other end—gentle and warm.
“Uh... sort of.”
Actually, Su Yun had woken up a little after eight in the morning. But since her door still wasn’t fixed, she’d had to stay at her landlady’s place.
And there wasn’t much to do there, so she’d just gone back to sleep until noon when the repairs were finally done and she could return upstairs.
Thinking of all this, Su Yun felt a little bitter and annoyed. It was all that damn thief’s fault.
“So lazy, little piggy~”
Qin Xue’s teasing tone came through, making Su Yun feel like biting someone.
She’s not a pig! It’s just because a thief broke in last night!
But after thinking it over, Su Yun still didn’t tell Qin Xue.
“It’s not even afternoon yet. You want me to come to your place now?” Su Yun asked in a neutral tone.
“Nope, Sister Xiaoyun, come to school instead—at the Arts Building.”
Qin Xue then gave Su Yun a room number: 205.
In short, their club would be performing at the sports festival opening next Tuesday, and today was their final rehearsal.
Su Yun agreed to head over shortly.
But she had one question.
What was she even going there for?
After all, Su Yun couldn’t dance, nor could she tell good dancing from bad.
She thought for a moment, then figured maybe she was being asked to help with logistics—moving things.
That, Su Yun had no problem with. Since she was super strong now, no matter how heavy something was, it’d feel light.
After getting her task, Su Yun got ready to head out. But just as she was about to step outside, she suddenly realized something.
There were apparently people at school looking for her—and not in a good way.
So she had to disguise herself. She couldn’t just stroll into campus openly like this.
Su Yun turned back into her bedroom and pulled out some black clothes from the wardrobe—the kind she used to wear as a guy.
Closing the curtains, the girl began her transformation inside the room. When she was done, a pure white skirt lay on the bed.
In this kind of scene, if there were a few more pieces of girly underwear scattered on the bed, it would’ve been a situation ripe for imagination.
But unfortunately, there was only one person here.
Su Yun put on a cap and colored contact lenses, wrapping herself up tightly just like before before heading out.
It was Saturday noon. The street outside the school gate was quiet, with hardly anyone around. The only people were those waiting at the bus stop to the left of the gate.
Since it was the weekend, most people either went to Summer’s End Plaza nearby or just stayed in their dorms ordering takeout. Not many wanted to eat outside campus.
Su Yun herself used to spend weekends holed up in her dorm ordering food. She didn’t want to go out, and no one wanted to go out with her either.
……
The walk took about ten minutes. Su Yun arrived at the Arts Building next to the sports field.
Not seeing Qin Xue on the first floor, she had no choice but to bite the bullet and go up to the second floor, which she’d never visited before.
Once on the second floor, turning right, the first room she saw was 211.
Following the hallway forward, the room numbers got smaller.
“205 should be just up ahead, right?” Su Yun passed a few rooms—some filled with clutter, others with entire walls made of mirrors.
The closer she got, the more clearly she could hear the lively noise up ahead.
And it was all girls’ voices.
That noisy room was exactly where she was headed: Room 205.
She looked at the girls still messing around inside. After confirming it was the right room, she pushed the door open and walked in.
“Who is it?” One of the girls frowned and asked warily when she saw a stranger with a mask walk in.
“Hey, you can’t just walk in here, you know? We’ve got activities going on,” another girl said.
“...” The girls all started urging the stranger to leave, but the person just stood there silently, not saying a word.
That only made them even more suspicious. They began to wonder if this person was some kind of creep. One girl even quietly grabbed a broom behind her, ready to drive the intruder out.
“Uh...” Su Yun was also thrown off when she realized Qin Xue wasn’t in the room—she froze on the spot.
Was this just a prank?
Su Yun wasn’t used to talking to strangers, especially when they were all girls. So she just stood there, motionless.
But after a while, she could feel the atmosphere turning weird. If she didn’t say something soon, things might get out of hand.
“Um... do you guys know Qin Xue? She told me to come here...” Su Yun finally summoned her courage and spoke to the dozen or so girls.
“Ah, Sister Xue?!” As soon as Su Yun said that, the previously silent dance studio burst into chatter. The girls all started talking at once.
And once they heard Su Yun’s soft and cute voice, they realized she wasn’t one of those creepy guys taking secret photos. They relaxed a bit.
